Donations & funding goals

This page is a work in progress.

You will soon be able to donate to help fund the operating costs of our servers.

Here we will list the approximate costs, although not everything can be neatly separated from F-hub.org which Slrpnk.net shares servers and infrastructure with.

We will also list the monthly donations and funding goals (for new hardware etc.).

Hardware costsinvestments

  • To be completed later (Currently the site runs on a bigger server than likely necessary)
  • Second-hand UPS and new battery ~ 80€
  • Dedicated database server for slrpnk.net: second-hand purchase and upgrade ~ 250€

Recurring Costs

  • Slrpnk.net domain and basic out-going email hosting: 13 € / yr
  • Glass-fibre internet connection: 40€ / month
  • Electricity consumption: around 20€ / month for the current servers

Funding goals

  • OneShort term: recovery of thehardware mediuminvestments

  • Medium goals will be toterm: switch to a fully solar-powered server.server
  • Long term: compensation of some time spend on server maintainance
